What is NUC Squads?

NUC Squads is Mobilise's fundraising accelerator program for Nedd's Uncomfortable Challenge (NUC).

NUC is an annual fundraising campaign where participants take on an 'uncomfortable challenge' for 10 days to raise money and awareness for homelessness in Australia.

🎯 The 30/30/3000 Mission

NUC Squads helps participants systematically raise $3,000 — enough to break the cycle of homelessness for one person:

• 30 Asks = 20 direct asks + 10 social media posts

• 30 Donations = Systematic asking leads to systematic results

• $3,000 Raised = Breaks the cycle for 1 person

📅 How It Works

The program runs for 4 weeks each October:

• Week 1: Finding Your Why — craft your story, set up your page

• Week 2: Network & Outreach — map your network, make your first asks

• Week 3: Content & Planning — create social content, prepare for launch

• NUC Week: GO TIME — do the challenge, post daily, celebrate wins

Each week includes live Learn & Do sessions, templates, and squad accountability.
