Meet Lisa & Chocky,

Lisa has been homeless for nine years, after a bad domestic violence experience.

She doesn’t have any family here in Melbourne and thinks she might have some family in Tasmania, but she hasn’t heard from them in decades.

Lisa has a partner Glenn who also lives on the street, he is a good and kind man who cares for Lisa.

When Lisa, Glenn and Chocky are gifted $65 a day that will get them accommodation for the night. If they can’t get the funds that they need they have sleeping bags and Chocky watches over them during the night. Lisa’s partner and her friends on the street are her family and support system.

Lisa had bowel cancer three years ago but has since been given the all-clear. Lisa is super worried about Glenn as he has been recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and has been told that he may only have two years to live.
