New to the scene

Hi everyone! My name is Karan, and I'm super excited to be part of the Mobilise mission as a volunteer.

In my previous role supporting people with disabilities and other marginalised communities as they entered the workforce, I quickly learned that their biggest challenges weren’t just about skills or experience - they were about stigma and lack of access to resources. Stigma creates a gap between perception and reality, and closing that gap has become something I care deeply about.

At the end of the day, we’re all human, separated only by circumstance. Helping people see that is exactly what Mobilise is working toward, and I’m proud to be part of a movement that’s actively humanising homelessness in the eyes of the public.
