Investigating 🤨 🔍 Anti-Homeless Architecture

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all staying warm and well this winter.

Thanks to the CCA x Mobilise hackathon, my team and I were given a chance to come up with an idea that could bring about meaningful change regarding the homelessness crisis. With your help, we now have a real opportunity to turn this idea into some positive action.

What can you do?

If you notice any anti-homeless architecture around you (e.g. benches with dividers, spikes under bridges, slanted bus stop seats) that are designed to stop people from resting or sleeping:

📸 Take a photo
📍 Note the location (Name, Postal Code)
📝 Share it with us

This will help us map out how common these designs are in our communities and better understand the challenges our homeless brothers and sisters face, especially during these cold, dreary winter months that have us lying five inches away from our heaters.

Your contributions will make a huge difference in highlighting these barriers so we can advocate for more accommodating public spaces.

Thank you so much for being part of this!! ☺️
